We acknowledge that we gather on the land of Cowlitz, Nisqually, Squaxin, Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla peoples. They have been on these lands since the beginning of time and we honor the rights of Indigenous people as stewards of Turtle Island (the non-colonial name of America). We acknowledge that this land was not freely ceded. We recognize that this statement is one small step toward true allyship. We are committed to respecting and honoring the voices, experiences, creations, and histories of Indigenous people.
